What you would do
- Design realistic, demanding tasks drawn from real engineering work, such as feature changes in large codebases, debugging, code review and system design
- Write a clear proposal for each task: why it reflects real work, how it gets checked and why today's models struggle with it
- Write reference solutions, tests and task-specific grading criteria
- Review code written by AI models, and pair with AI coding agents to see where they hold up and where they break down
- Revise your work in response to feedback from senior reviewers
02 · Requirements
What they ask for
- At least four years as a professional software engineer at a leading tech or quant firm, a top financial institution or a household-name, high-growth tech company
- Fluency in a major programming language (Python, Java, C++, Go, TypeScript, Rust or similar), and solid skills in system design, testing, debugging and code review
- A bachelor's degree from an English-speaking country, and excellent written English
- Residence in the US, UK, Canada, Australia or New Zealand
